Mixed6/10Budget

Vax is a popular UK value brand, particularly strong in carpet washers. Performance is decent for the money, but reviewers find build quality inconsistent.

Good at

  • Good value corded and cordless vacuums
  • Well-regarded carpet washers
  • Long guarantees on some models (up to 6 years on some corded)

Weak at

  • Build quality and durability mixed
  • Cordless models trail premium brands on suction
