Day diff
Count the days between two dates. By default the first date is not counted, so Mon → Tue is 1 day; turn on Count from first date to include it (2 days), the way you count the days of a trip.
Pick both dates to see the difference.
Instructions
Shows the current time in every common format, and converts any timestamp you paste into all of them.
- The Now row ticks live — read UTC, local, Unix seconds/milliseconds, ISO 8601 or Excel serial straight off it.
- Paste a value into an input row. The format is detected for you and shown in the Detected column.
- Use Add row to compare several timestamps at once, and click any cell to copy it.
Tips
- Recognised inputs: Unix milliseconds (
1781480306207), Unix seconds (1781480306), ISO dates (2026-09-01) and Excel serial numbers (46262.5). - Diff from upper row measures against the row above — so a list of log timestamps reads as the gap between events, while Diff from now is always against the live clock.
- Hide columns you do not need with the checkboxes below the table; the choice is remembered.
- Local values use this browser's time zone, so the same timestamp reads differently on a machine set elsewhere.
- Hit Example and click Add row to load one row per supported format at once.
- Day diff counts calendar days between two dates. Leave Count from first date off for a plain difference, or turn it on to include the first day (trips, stays, leave).
