PC case

Good7/10Mid-range

NZXT cases look sleek and are easy to build in, and the H-series Flow models perform well. The brand has had trust issues, from the H1 recall to its Flex rental scheme settling a class action in 2026. The cases themselves are sound but seldom the best value.

Good at

  • Clean minimalist design with tidy cable routing
  • H6 and H9 Flow are popular dual-chamber showcases
  • H5 Flow is a simple, easy first-build case

Weak at

  • 2021 H1 recall: riser screws could cause a fire risk
  • Usually priced above similar Montech or Phanteks cases
  • US Flex rental class action settled 2026 (no admission)

Power supply (PSU)

Mixed6.5/10Mid-range

NZXT's C-series PSUs are adequate rebadged units that look good in NZXT builds, but they rarely lead on value or performance. A 2026 recall of mis-wired SATA cables for one US C1500 batch did not help confidence.

Good at

  • C-series Gold units are compact and tidy-looking
  • ATX 3.1 models with 12V-2x6 cables
  • Matches NZXT cases and cooling for one-brand builds

Weak at

  • 2026 recall: swapped-wire SATA cables in one C1500 batch
  • Built by outside OEMs; quality varies by generation
  • Usually priced above equal Corsair or MSI units
