Charger / power bank / cable

Mixed5/10Mid-range

Cygnett is an Australian brand found in most AU and NZ electronics stores, with local support and a wide range. Its power banks have a poor recent safety record: the MagMove 5K was recalled in 2024 after fires and injuries, and the MagSlim 5K in 2026. Its chargers and cables are unremarkable but fine.

Good at

  • Widely stocked at AU/NZ retailers with local support
  • Broad range of chargers, cables and power banks
  • Full refunds offered on recalled products

Weak at

  • MagMove 5K recalled in 2024 after fires and burns
  • MagSlim 5K (Black) recalled; recall widened April 2026
  • Specs trail Anker or Ugreen at similar prices
