Good7/10Mid-range

BenQ is strong in niches: Zowie for competitive esports and PD/SW for colour-critical work. It is less competitive in mainstream gaming, where rivals offer more for the money.

Good at

  • Zowie models are esports staples, with strong motion clarity
  • PD/SW models are factory-calibrated for design and photo work
  • Eye-care focus: flicker-free, low blue light modes
  • MA series tailored for Mac users

Weak at

  • Often pricier than rivals for similar panels
  • HDR is weak on most non-flagship models
  • Zowie models are basic apart from motion handling
