Power supply (PSU)

Mixed5.5/10Budget

Gigabyte's PSU reputation has not recovered from 2021, when reviewers found GP-P750GM and GP-P850GM units failing explosively and the company's response was slow. Newer UD units are reported as fine, but most builders spend a little more elsewhere.

Good at

UD and Aorus Elite units are cheap and often bundled
Current UD series reviews reasonably

Weak at

2021 GP-P750GM/850GM units failed, some violently
Gigabyte downplayed the fault before offering exchanges
Small range with thin long-term data
