Kettle / toaster / small appliances

Good7/10Premium

De'Longhi's kettles and toasters are bought mainly for their Italian styling, and the Icona and Distinta sets look the part. Performance is fine but no better than cheaper rivals, and some owners report leaking kettles. A style pick, not a value one.

Good at

  • Stylish matching kettle and toaster sets
  • Good build feel on Icona and Distinta ranges
  • Widely stocked with a solid service network

Weak at

  • Owners report Distinta kettles leaking from the base
  • Trim and finishes can peel over time
  • Pays for looks more than extra features
