Text Tools
Pick how the input is shaped and how the output should be shaped, then add options. One line is a single separator-delimited line, Multiple lines is one value per line, and Table is one row per line with cells joined by the separator. A Multiple lines input is split on the separator as it is read, so a line holding several cells is flattened to one value per line before any option runs. Not sure what an option does? Hit Example and click it — that option gets a sample input and runs on it.

Instructions
Reshapes a list of values: change its shape, clean it up, and read the result out of the Output box.
- Paste your text into Input.
- Say what it is under Input format: One line (separator-delimited), Multiple lines (one value per line) or Table (one row per line).
- Say what you want under Output format.
- Add options — trim, remove empty lines, sort, unique, transpose, and so on. They run top to bottom on the parsed values.
- Read the result from Output and copy it.
Tips
- The column separator drives everything: it splits a one-line input, joins a one-line output, and cuts cells for the table operations. Use the Tab button to put a real tab in it.
- Options that cannot apply to the current format pair are hidden and forced off, so a hidden toggle can never affect your output.
- To Table is the common preset — loose values in, rows out — in one click.
- Copy params dumps every current setting as text, which is the fastest way to report a bug against this page.
- Your input, output and settings are kept in this browser, so the page comes back the way you left it.
- Hit Example and click any highlighted control to load a sample that shows exactly what that control does.
